Susie's Duck are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based on Oahu, Hawaii.
Their mission is to help RESCUE, REHABILITATE, and REHOME ducks and geese on Oahu and across Hawaii.
The Sanctuary focuses on education and outreach to help share their message of kindness and compassion to all animals. They are a volunteer run organization and would love to have you join their Duck crew to help care for and share their love of ducks.
Susie's Duck Sanctuary started with one duckling...Daffy. She was a one of kind duck. She was rescued to save her life and in turn she saved mine. She became a therapy duck, working with children on spectrum, folks with various disabilities and veterans. She grew up at AccesSurf and of course learned to surf. She competed against dogs at Dukes OceanFest "Going to the Dogs, SurFur competition. She is the reason this Sanctuary exists. This is her legacy. To help our webbed footed friends in need! Please become a part of this feathered Ohana.
Volunteer
They are looking for weekly commitments as well as project work days. Since they are a 501(c)3 non-profit, the volunteer hours performed with them are recognized by military commands. They will provide LOA's to any Service Members who would like one after volunteering with them, and are so grateful for all of your time and support!
